The term "microfibre leather" appears more frequently on the internet and is used for various reasons. The offered materials are not leather, but imitation leather or microfibre.

The use of the term 'microfibre leather' in the description of an object which is not leather has to be classified as inadmissible, according to the leather identification standards.
