Flugzeugleder
Flugzeugledersind Leder, die die besonderen Anforderungen an die Brandnormen (Flammfestigkeit, Smoke Density etc.) im Flugzeug erfüllen. Dafür werden die Leder schon beim Gerben flammschutzausgerüstet (= keine Eigenbrennbarkeit). Solche Leder werden auch für Hubschrauber verwendet.
Um Treibstoff zu sparen, werden Flugzeugleder auch manchmal extra leicht (Light Weight) gemacht.

Lufthansa leather: perforiert, bestickt oder mit buntem Keder abgesetzt
