Leather of vaulting horses and vaulting boxes

Gymnastic equipment traditionally was covered with vegetable-tanned leather. Vaulting horses, vaulting boxes and jump boxes are typical examples. Today, gymnastic equipment is increasingly used as home furniture. Leather medicine balls are used as seat cushions.
